Friday five
Jun. 19th, 2020 04:12 pm1. When was the last time you went to a state or county fair? Last year
2. Did you try your hand at the midway games? No, the food and animals are a big reason why I go LOL
3. Which of the rides were your favorite, either now or as a kid? The Ferris wheel
4. Did you ever enter anything into the exhibits? How did you do? I don't think so..
5. What is your best memory that you take from a fair? Petting the animals, etc. I'm sad I won't get my yearly Dippin Dots this year LOL
It's been raining all day today, so the bookstore was the busiest I've seen it since we opened back up (even with allowing only 5 or 6 people in at a time). When I left we were over $500..the past week has been slow with $200 days, so that was nice to see lol. Corona is not allowed to visit though :P
The National Guard moved the bus from Into the Wild! People kept having to be rescued and some even died trying to get to it, so the state said "no more" and airlifted it out of there. For some reason, this sentence amuses me: "On Thursday, the bus was placed on a flat bed trailer and was last seen heading south on the Park[s] Highway." So mysterious!! Haha. I wonder what's going to happen to it..
