Nov. 15th, 2019 04:15 pm1. Have you ever had a vacation ruined by the weather or did you just work around it? I usually try to work around it..I've actually had fun getting soaked in the rain when standing in front of a glacier haha
2. What small changes do you feel people could make to give the planet a fighting chance against global warming? I'll talk more about this on question 5, but we definitely need less plastic
3. Are you adversely affect by the weather, such as SAD? I can be..before I got on meds for migraines, I'd get one for three days before the weather changed D:
4. How is the weather where you are and have you seen drastic changes in it during your lifetime? It's cold and windy. Yeah, it's definitely gotten warmer in since I moved here in 2008..I feel bad for the glaciers LOL
5. Do you think we can stop global warming or is it too late? "Global warming" is part of the earth's natural cycle..we've been coming out of an ice age for a long time. We've probably sped it up, but it would still happen..it's what the earth does lol (Antarctica used to be a lush forest!). I cringe when I hear about "global warming protests"..we should definitely do more to protect the environment, but we can't stop the earth doing what it's been doing for millions of years. Me and Denise have fun ranting about this to people LOL
It's been windy most of this week, which really doesn't feel nice when it's like 6 degrees outside..I hope that isn't the "normal" for us now, I've always appreciated it NOT being windy in the winter here (unless there's a Chinook, but that's a warm wind). Luckily it's supposed to be warmer next week. Go away, cold wind!
