Aug. 24th, 2018 03:49 pm1. What regional colloquialism in your area would baffle people from elsewhere? "Cheechako," which is someone new to Alaska lol
2. What’s something you call by a name that differs from what most people in your region call it? Maybe soda..
3. What’s a normal food in your region that people in other regions might be weirded out by? Eskimo Ice Cream, made from berries and animal fat
4. What’s something in your area with an official name almost nobody refers to it by? Pioneer Park..it used to be called Alaskaland, and everyone still calls it that haha
5. What are the names of some convenience stores in your area? Holiday, Just a Store, etc
Ugh it's supposed to rain almost every day for the next week..a little is alright, then it's just depressing :/
