Scary clouds!

I'd never really seen clouds like this in Alaska till yesterday..they looked like clouds I'd see in Texas! I was looking for tornadoes haha. I hope the lightning didn't cause any forest fires..

Recently our other local bookstore that had been in Fairbanks over 20 years went out of business (I knew they were in trouble when they moved to a tiny place waaaay on the other side of town..sad!), so our bookstore has gotten a LOT busier..there are lots of people coming in that have never been in before. On Friday and Saturday we had our Customer Appreciation Sale, and over those two days combined we made over $3000!! Becky said that broke our two-day sale record, and this fiscal year is our highest ever so far! Awesome! Usually after big sales the bookstore is dead, but nope, it was busy today too! It was a big deal for us to make over $300 for the day, now we can usually do that no problem! It's sad that the other bookstore closed, but I'm glad we've been doing so well :)
