Books read in February
Mar. 1st, 2018 10:04 amA past Goodreads Choice Awards winner: All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr (Jan. 28-Feb. 6). I LOVED this book, I can see why it was a winner!
A book by a local author: Two Old Women by Velma Wallis (Feb. 6). I saw her in the bookstore soon after reading it and told her it was a good book, and she seemed appreciative, and maybe a little embarrassed lol. She's so nice :D
A book set in a country that fascinates you: First on the Antarctic Continent: Being an Account of the British Antarctic Expedition, 1898 1900 (Feb. 7-10)
Nordic noir: Midnight Sun by Joe Nesbo (Feb. 11-12)
A book about mental health: Cowboy & Wills by Monica Holloway (Feb. 13-18)
( all the challenge topics )
The trains seem to be running and the Scott Polar Research Institute is open, so we're going to brave the blizzard once again lol. I hope we don't get stuck :P
