Mike and Laura's baby shower

In December Mike and Laura (the Executive Director of the Literacy Council and his wife) adopted a baby they named Elias (like the mountain..they love reminding me of that since I love mountains lol). It was pretty last minute, so we didn't get to have their baby shower till today. It was fun..I'm glad the only "game" we played was trying to guess each other's baby pictures..baby shower games can be so dumb lol. It's so cool how were basically a family at work and can have real fun with each other..one reason I love working there <3

And it's not every day you get a picture of me holding a baby!

A bit terrifying, but awww! How cute lol


Mike's mom, Laura holding Elias, and Mike :) (they said Elias's birth mother spent hours looking at pictures trying to find the right adoptive parents, and when she got to Mike and Laura's she looked at it for two minutes and was like "yep, that's the right couple!" Wow!)
