The queen of coincidences again :P

Fairbanks isn't incredibly small but it's small enough to run into random people you know (like Nina at the salmon bake and the Christmas bazaar and mom's coworker at Chili's and Fred Meyer). There was someone at work named Stacey and I hadn't seen her there in a long time. Yesterday I just happened to run into her at just the right moment while leaving Fred's. She said she got too busy to come back. Aw. Wow haha

This year is a bad year to live by the Yukon River..it's wreaking havoc or threatening to with each village it passes. Tanana was the latest (or one of the latest). I don't think it got hit TOO bad but people were still evacuated. Eep..
