I'm back with another video! They are pretty fun lol, except for that awful word..yikes. D: I definitely try multiple takes, but then I get tired and sound worse haha. I kept this one because I liked how I recited from Rime of the Ancient Mariner. Hope it was enjoyable lol. Here is the meme, if you'd like to do it!

Writing my story was fun. It was also easy, because it happend in London. It took this class pereod Friday, part of that night, and all day Saterday to finish. It took me so long because I was playing with my friends [Why do I admit stuff like this to my teachers?? OMG lol]

9-9-02
I visited Ground Zero at New York City. My reaction is sadness. It is sad that the terrorists attacked the Twin Towers and those thousands of people died. Also at the Pentagon and in that field in Pennsylvannia. I think life has been diffrent because we are a stronger country. The terrorists wanted to change our country in a bad way, only now they did it in a good way! We are united! The terrorists attacked the WTC. When they fell down, people ran everywhere. Mom said we walked down the exact street the people ran down! The Pentagon got hit too, only 1 part of it got hit and they rebuilt it. The plane that was supposed to hit the White House hit in a Pennsylvannia field, because the people overtook the terrorists

I felt strange on 9-11-02. I turned on the news that morning. President Bush was at Ground Zero, and there was a big crowd and they were commemorating the people who lost their lives. Then New York City’s mayor and 100 other volenteers started reading all the names who lost their lives. It took about 3 hours. I looked at 2 other channels and it had on the screen all the people who lost their lives. The newspaper listed the names, too. A lot of people at school had on red, white, blue and others were flag shirts. President Bush also visited the Pentagon and Pennsylvannia. In Battery Park, they lit an eternal flame by a sphere that used to be in the courtyard of the World Trade Centers

I then circled three things, and wrote this:] Trees produce oxygen, they take in carbon dioxide, they purify the air. Digital things can save lives, they are interesting, we would still be in the Dark Ages. The Dell Laptop

My laptop is black. It has a certain smell to it. I can’t explain it, but if you have ever smelled one, you would know. [Mom thought I was crazy when I read this to her haha, but it absolutely had a certain smell! I think it’s one reason I liked it lol.] Also, when it thinks, it sounds like beeping. They keys when you press on them, it gives a light click. If you feel the bottom when it’s been on a long time, it is hot. The brand of my laptop is Dell. My laptop’s screen saver is my pictures from London. Also, you can click on an icon that brings these funny sheep you can play around with. [I’m not sure where I found those sheep, but they were SO amusing! They’d walk around and “baa” and you could pick them up and drop them, and they would make a funny face haha]

My mom told me about this commercal. She said that this guy went to bed and turned his lamp off which turned off all the lights in Times Square. Then, when he woke up, he was in Piccadilly Circus. She said it was about traveling in an airplane or something. I like it because it has Times Square & Piccadilly Circus. That’s also why it interests me. I don’t know what charachtaristics it has because my mom told me about it. [That was an actual commercial?? It sounds too good to be true haha.] I also like the one about Sprint and it has color phones & has games - the phone is Samsung. It interests me because it’s technology and my favorite brand is Samsung. No interesting charachtaristics

My favorite place in the film was Rivendell. It looked like a paradise and it had beautiful trees and waterfalls. It was a comfortable environment. I think it would smell like fresh rained on grass and the smell of blossoming trees. I think it would sound like trees rustling in the wind and the sound of waterfalls. I think I would taste the food of the Elves. I would touch the bark of the trees

The Elves. I like them, because they have keen eyesight like Legolas and are skilled with a bow an[d] arrow. They can also walk on top of snow. They are also immortal. They can get killed, but they can’t die from old age

If I were to go on an adventure, I would disembark at London. I would look for a hotel that had vacancy, of course. My hotel would be called Regent’s Palace with hotel suites. Regent’s Palace is in my favorite place in London, Piccadilly Circus. I would visit the futuristic London Pavilion. I wanted to get a shirt there, but they had a shortage, so we would go to Oxford Street instead. London is unpredictable; you never know what might happen there. I would yearn to go on the London Eye, so that’s what we would do. While the Eye ascended to the top, we looked at the sights of London. On a clear day, you can see the remote country side!! At the end of the journey, we would contract a taxi to the airport and fly home [I imagine this assignment was to write a paragraph with that week’s spelling words lol]

This show is called Going Places. This is a quiz show. We conserve our questions each year, so we don’t waste paper. We are located on the corner of Courtyard St, at the intersection of Courtyard and Pine. The contestents answer questions about cars, like what is a coupe? On this quiz show, the contestants recoup money. Another question is how do you put antifreeze in the car or how do you keep it away from pets & kids. Another hard question is who invented asphalt. Only 1 person got it right so far. The answer is the Egyptians. [what?? Really?] I wonder how much horsepower there was in their chariots of theirs? I wonder if it could exeed 20MPH? We give their stipend at the end of the game. It is opional to answer the questions and say I don’t know. This building that holds the show doesn’t need very good maintanance because it is built very well [More spelling words..]

Come to my habitable house on midday Thursday for some fun! The house will smell of incense. You can go on my balcony and yell at people walking on the pathway [haha what??] or you can relax and put your feet up on an ottoman. You can also go on the balcony and embroider something with a floral pattern. Whatever you do, DON’T IGNITE THE HOUSE ON FIRE!! If something gets on fire, douse it with water! Don’t misplace anything and don’t break any porcelain. Other than that, have fun!!

I wrote this excerpt from The Druid of Shannara at the back of one of the sections of the notebook:

He screamed the battle cry of his homeland. “Leah! Leah!” [Wow! No wonder I loved Shannara lol]
