December 22: Joy!
So, Denise gave me my Christmas presents, and I just DIED when I saw what she had gotten me:
Two tickets to the play in February, TERRA NOVA, BASED ON ROBERT FALCON SCOTT'S EXPEDITION!!!!??!! In Fairbanks??! *FLAILS!!!!!* OMG that is AMAZING (she asked my mom first if she thought I would like it..how could she even have any doubt haha??). I wonder if Cherry will be in it?? I so can't wait, I bet I'll just be smiling stupidly during the whole play LOL. Denise, wow, I don't think I could get her a gift that cool! I gave her a giant hug. :D What a perfect gift!! <3 (My expression says it all LOL)
She also got me this cool penguin blanket:

1. What did you do in 2017 that you’d never done before? Went to Glacier Bay
2. Did you keep your New Years’ resolutions, and will you make more for next year? The only ones I make that I can keep are how many books I want to read lol..I originally said 45, but changed it to 64 when I far surpassed 45. I'm on my 63rd right now :D
3. Did anyone close to you give birth? Not super close, but people I know, yeah
4. Did anyone close to you die? No
5. What countries did you visit? I just stayed in the USA
6. What would you like to have in 2018 that you lacked in 2017? A boyfriend might be nice LOL
7. What date from 2017 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
July 22: When I won $500 at the Rubber Ducky Race, and finding a 1951 edition of The Worst Journey in the World
July 28-31: The EPIC vacation to Glacier Bay. It was amazing!!

9. What was your biggest failure? Maybe being too emotional, or gaining weight lol
10. Did you suffer illness or injury? The worst was an ingrown toenail D:

Welll..after repeatedly looking at volume 2 of the first edition of The Worst Journey in the World and agonizing over whether to get it, I finally just went ahead and bought it (Merry Christmas to me :D). I get these weird butterfly chills when I think about it. :D :D Also vacations, books, etc
12. Whose behavior merited celebration this year? People who did good things
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? You-know-who, also known as # 45. Yuck
14. Where did most of your money go? Rent, books, food, etc
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? Going to Glacier Bay, winning $500, etc
16. What song will always remind you of 2017? Maybe "We Didn't Start the Fire," since I loved it so much this year lol

i. happier or sadder? Hmm..about the same or happier
ii. thinner or fatter? Fatter..I have no self control around bad food LOL

27. What was your greatest musical discovery? It was fun getting into Billy Joel, but for "new" music, I like "The Reckoning" by Unsecret and that "Wolves" song by Selena Gomez (LOL I can't help it, it's catchy :P
