Winter Solstice Alaska style

The sun comes up today at 10:59 (pretty soon!) and goes down at 2:40. Then it'll start getting light later each day! *phew* Yesterday there were fireworks to celebrate the solstice

Margerie Glacier is taller than the Statue of Liberty..it's 350 feet and the statue is 307 feet. Haha woww (go Margerie! :D)

As soon as I saw that photo I went "that's Marjorie Glacier!"
That looks a lot like a photo I took, but of course it's same glacier so it would look like that.
