Ugh yesterday around 12:30 the internet went down and didn't come back till this afternoon..apparently there were some outages. I was so boreddd..I did do crosswords and watched a movie but after awhile you're just like dadfsgjlk. We went up to Murphy Dome again haha..I was hoping to see the mountains since it was sunny but couldn't cause there was like haze or smoke or something in the air. The blueberries were pretty picked over too. Ah well

Today has been hot and sunny..it's 81! I was getting tired of the blah clouds so yay. We went walking at Creamer's Field and went to the Farmer's Market and got some food. They have yummy popcorn and cinnamon bread

It seems like there's way less fireweed this year..and a lot of the trees seem diseased..odd

Today's trivia: A walla-walla scene is one where extras pretend to be talking in the background - when they say "walla-walla" it looks like they are actually talking

The heat is killing me! Even as cool as the house stays, it's just been WAY too hot for me to get much of anything done without feeling like I'm going to throw up. I'm too sensitive to heat for these 80+ temps! XD

The Farmer's Market has awesome kettlecorn! We used to live just down the street, so sometimes Jedi and I would get up early on Saturday to go bring the dogs down there and grab some kettlecorn. Yum.

It does seem like there's been less fireweed, and disease has definitely been hitting the area trees hard. I think all but one Alaskan tree species is under attack from fungus, insects, or both. It's been causing deforestation on a pretty shocking scale, and I think it's just finally made its way to our area and that's why we're noticing it. Luckily, it hasn't hit the trees on our property yet, but the bugs sure did a number on some of the younger saplings. :-/ I love trees so this has been hugely depressing for me.

Also, interesting about the "walla-walla" thing! XD I'll have to play closer attention to extras' lips next time I see some background "conversation" going on in a movie.

Yeahh it's like 80 degrees in mom's house. *fans self* I said we should jump in the river :P

Yeah it's depressing me too..at least one of mom's trees has aphids. I think they're cute but they're killing the tree. *sniff* I used to be a tree fanatic and it still upsets me when I see like trees being cut down for no reason (like that one scene in Avatar if you've seen it..ugh). Poor trees..

OMGG!! I was going through withdrawal when my internet was down for like two hours haha. That's terrible. :( I'm so glad it's back up and running again.
