Which do you think is easier to do, being friends for many years, or being life partners for many years? Being friends for many years. 3. Have you ever walked away from someone you considered a friend? Yes? 4. If you had to choose between telling the truth and hurting a friend or lying and making them happy, which would you choose? I think it would depend on the circumstances. 5. Which would you rather hear--the truth which will hurt, or the comforting lie? Again...it would depend. If it's something REALLY important, I would want to know the truth. If it's something that doesn't matter one way or the other if I know the truth or not, then a comforting lie would do just fine.
