The sky is a hazy shade of winter

It's snowing! The highs now are below 32, so it's here to stay, though after this it's supposed to be sunny for the next week..we need more snow before the really cold temperatures hit for insulation, so pipes don't freeze. I love how quiet and peaceful it is when it's snowing :D
There was a magnitude 5.5 earthquake yesterday, but I was sleeping..darn :P (I always feel left out when everyone else is posting on Facebook that they felt it haha)
I love bad disaster movies, but the one I watched yesterday (Oceans Rising) was too dumb even for me..the first like 30 minutes was about this couple just arguing..ugh, boring! From what I understood, the poles were shifting and the oxygen was leaking out of the atmosphere (whut??) and the oceans rose like 200 feet. The scientist guy was like "let's go to CERN and make two black holes so the earth can stabilize again!" Ummm..what?? I'm sure a scientist would just die if they heard that lol. The special effects and acting were awful, and apparently you can sail a boat from Galveston to Switzerland in less than a day..they get off the boat and are like "ooo, the Alps!" Someone must have skipped out on geography class, because Switzerland HAS NO COAST LINE! There was a kid whose mom had just died, and the scientist lady who told him comes back a few minutes later and is like "what is wrong with you??" when she sees he's sad. Everyone somehow can use their phones, even though the satellites were destroyed. I was very amused in the first scene though when the scientist guy wakes up, sees the Northern Lights and checks his compass..sure, that's what I do when I first wake up LOL. The only good thing about the movie? THIS GUY:

YUM!!! Otherwise, that movie made no sense lol
